About Nick

Nick GancitanoNick Gancitano is a former All-American Soccer Player and was the place-kicker for the 1983 National Championship Penn State Football team. He received his degree in Exercise Sport Science (Biomechanics) and played briefly with the Detroit Lions. After a knee injury retired him to the business world, Nick became a regional vice president for A.L. Williams. Four years later, he entered the public school system to teach science and coach wrestling, soccer and football.

Since 1986, Nick has privately mentored dozens of place-kickers who received Division I college scholarships. His comprehensive approach emphasizes the significance of yoga, meditation and creative visualization to assist athletes with finding The Zone.

When Nick is not touring with his books The Edge of Glory and Be Still and Know I AM God, he is a private team and player consultant. He now resides with his wife in South Florida, where he shares Self-inquiry and meditation with the general public while continuing to coach some of the top place-kickers in the United States.
